Don't Panic!
Welcome to The Hitchhiker's Guide to Second Life™, perhaps the most remarkable*, certainly the most successful* website ever to come out of the great Second Life blogosphere. More popular* than Virtual Home & Garden Annual, better selling* than Fifty Shapes of Plywood, easier* than searching through Reddit comments, and more practically useful*, certainly less incendiary* than browsing the Second Life forums.
This site largely serves as my little library of 'useful posts', the answers I keep finding myself re-sharing whenever someone asks the big questions like "how do you buy land?" or "how can I get money?" So, instead of scattering those replies across chats and forums, I wanted to create a place where they could live.
There's not much here yet, but I hope that will change with time.
I hope the posts I've collected here will prove helpful, even if time slowly nudges some of the information out of date. Second Life is always changing: technically, socially, and culturally. So try to think of this site less as a finished instruction manual and more as an attempt to help, shared in the spirit of community.
